Cabins and motorhome pitch
For a simpler stay there are sleeping cabins with about twenty beds on the farm grounds – basic, without a kitchen, with shower and toilet in the community hall. There is also a motorhome pitch with electricity; it cannot be booked in advance and is first come, first served. Information and prices from the farm, +46 657 300 30.
Eating in the village
Café Bortom Åa in the America house at the farm museum serves coffee, home-baked bread, sandwiches and a light lunch (about 11–14) during the museum season, 1 June–13 September. It is the only place to eat in the village; out of season you cook for yourself. Remember that the nearest shop is in Los, thirty kilometres away – buy groceries before you come. During the craft festival in July, motti – the Forest Finn flour dish – is served with meatballs.
